Heritage House is the municipal museum and archive for the Town of Smiths Falls housed in an 1860's period home and offering changing annual exhibitions, special events, gift store and grounds.

Listen to stories of ghost sightings, forgotten graves, and haunted houses as you are toured through the halls of the museum by candlelight.

Tip toe through the candlelit corridors of the Smiths Falls Heritage House as a costumed interpreter leads you through tales of local ghost sightings, oral traditions and mysterious happenings of the Smiths Falls area and the museum. Each story has been discreetly shared by local residents, carefully selected from local news articles or experienced by museum staff and volunteers working in this eerily beautiful 1860&#x27;s home. Fee: $10 per Adult, $5 per child (12 and under)This event runs tours every half hour between 7 pm - 9 pm. We ask that you please come during your booked time slot. Private tour bookings are also available throughout the month of October by appointment: 613-283-6311 or heritagehouse@smithsfalls.ca. Please contact us for tours with children to ensure the stories are appropriate for their age group.
