Soapmaking Essentials: A Hands-on Guided Workshop
Come learn the timeless art of cold process soapmaking in this hands-on, practical beginner-friendly workshop!
We’ll guide you step-by-step through a trusted recipe as you create your own batch of beautiful, natural soap – perfect for gifting or treating yourself to a little everyday luxury. We will start with an introduction to safety considerations, an explanation of the science behind soapmaking, and how to adapt recipes for other ingredients. These soaps are non-scented. We will use a cold-process approach, mixing oils with lye.
Participants will leave with several bars of their own soap, in moulds that you will take home to finish curing, eliminating the step of returning for another visit to cut the soap. These moulds are reusable! All participants will also take home the full recipe and instructions so you can continue with more soapmaking at home. We’ll be working with lye, so safety is key — please bring an apron and eye protection (or borrow ours at the studio). Let’s get sudsy!
This workshop is suitable for ages 10+ with close adult supervision. All particpants require a ticket.

Cancellation policy: All ticket purchases are final. No refunds will be issued. Cancellations made prior to two hours before the scheduled workshop will receive a full credit for a future booking redeemable within 6 months.
