Are sneakers included?

Unfortunately we do not provide sneakers. The first rule of Sole Craft is “byos” - bring your own sneakers, new or pre-loved.

Question 2

What type of sneakers should I bring?

Accepted Answer

The ideal canvas for your creation is an all-white, brand-new leather sneaker with minimal markings - like a Nike Air Force One or adidas Forum.

Question 3

Can my sneakers be made of any material?

Accepted Answer

We can guide you through customizing any leather or canvas sneaker. Using a canvas sneaker will limit design options.
Please note, we don't accommodate or work with suede.

What can I create?

Accepted Answer

It’s ok if you have small simple ideas or big ambitious ideas, our artist will guide you through the best way to bring your creation to life during the session.

Does paint come off?

Accepted Answer

We show you how to properly prep, paint and protect your creation. After the event they will be wearable in any weather conditions, the Angelus finisher does make them waterproof but remember they are still hand painted works of art.

Session Timing

Please arrive promptly 10 minutes before your session starts to ensure you have the maximum amount of time. You will then have your session to create your design, with support from our artist and our team.

What's the vibe going to be like?

We are bringing community together and keeping the vibes high, we just want everyone to enjoy their session. We got one of the best DJ’s in the city, to provide the soundtrack to your session and the event space is so unique, we know you will love it.

What is included in my ticket?

In your paint kit you will receive:  Prepping Accessories / Painting Accessories / A choice of 2 Angelus paint colours - black and white paint will be provided for you / Protecting Finisher - Angelus /1 Pair of Looped Laces - Select your colour on the day / Sole Craft Sticker & Post Card

Yes! We are working with local businesses to keep you hydrated and to provide snacks. Keep and eye on our Instagram @soldecraftca for those announcements.

Is this event suitable for under 18's?

Accepted Answer

Any guest under the age of 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult over 19 years of age. The legal drinking age in British Columbia is 19 years old. This means individuals must be at least 19 to purchase, possess, and consume alcohol.

Can you consume alcohol at the event?

Accepted Answer

Outside alcohol is not allowed into the event. Alcohol is available to purchase, this means individuals must be at least 19 to purchase, possess, and consume alcohol.

Number of alcoholic drinks per guest will be limited. All  we ask is just be sensible, the Sole Craft Team nor your fellow artists should not have to put up with someone who cannot handle their alcohol. We reserve the right to remove you from the session if there is any disruptive behaviour.
