Solstice – Daytime Family Program

TheH.R. MacMillan Space Centreis a non-profit community resource that provides a unique learning experience for all. Visitors can learn about space and the night sky through planetarium star theatre shows, live demonstrations, and an interactive exhibit gallery.

Join us at the Space Centre and celebrate the longest day of the year, and the start of summer. Learn about how cultures around the world have used sun to tell time, and make your own sun dial. We will also do some solar viewing (weather permitting).This 60-minute program is recommended for families with children ages 7+. Children must be accompanied by adults. One ticket must be purchased for each member of your group. Please arrive early to allow time for check-in.

<h3>REGISTRATION</h3>Select your desired time slot and purchase a ticket for each member of your party. Groups can have a maximum of 4 people. Tickets are $10 per person plus taxes and fees. We will be hosting 8 people per time slot to allow for adequate social distancing. Time Slots: 9:45am, 10:30am, 11:15am, 12:00pm, 12:45am, 1:30pm, 2:15pm, 3:00pm

<h3>VISITING US</h3>The safety of all visitors and staff is our priority. We want to welcome you in a safe and comfortable environment. We hope that you will enjoy being back at the Centre and reconnecting with our programs and activities. Please arrive early to allow time for check-in out in front of the Space Centre.PLEASE NOTE: All members of your group will be REQUIRED TO WEAR A FACE MASK.
