Join our ongoing support designed to help you reconnect with your body, regulate emotions, & receive peer support through somatic practices.
This virtual support series will run biweekly on Wednesdays from 6:45 PM – 8:00 PM.
Somatic Peer Support is a guided, body-based offering created to support emotional regulation, grounding, and nervous system care. These sessions are led by trained peer support facilitators and are ideal for anyone navigating stress, overwhelm, or the lasting impacts of trauma.
These sessions are free and open to all, made possible by the support of the Waterloo Region Community Foundation (WRCF) Soma-Peer Support is supported by the Racial Equity Grant held at Waterloo Region Community Foundation.
TEAO Canada offers this series as part of our mission to provide accessible, trauma-responsive, and peer-led supports to individuals and families across Ontario.
Participation Guidelines
To support a safe and relational space for all participants:
• Registration is required for each session. The Zoom link is provided through Eventbrite upon registration.
• This is a relational space. Participants are invited to engage in a way that feels accessible, whether through camera, voice, or chat.
• Participants who remain fully unengaged (no camera, voice, or chat) within the first 30 minutes may be removed to support the safety of the group.
These guidelines help maintain a space where participants feel supported, respected, and not observed without connection.
