Spectrum Connect

Spectrum Connect

Overview

Where Two-Spirit, Trans+, & Non-Binary Voices Unite!

Spectrum Connect is a monthly, community-driven gathering space for Two-Spirit, trans, and non-binary folks (18+) to connect, share, learn, and support one another.

For our November gathering we have guest speaker Wren Tian (they/he) joining us from HEAL NS!

Join us for a group discussion on navigating sex, substance use, and wellness. The intention of this discussion is to share experiences and knowledge, guided by harm reduction principles, with the goal of encouraging open dialogue and reflection on our relationships to ourselves, each other, and these topics. If you have ever wondered how to sift through shame to figure out what pleasure and wellness means to you, then this discussion is for you!

Spectrum Connect is more than an event!
It’s a space to:
• Build connections & chosen family
• Share lived experiences and knowledge
• Access information on affirming care and supports
• Engage in open, community-led conversation
• Strengthen intergenerational connection, mentorship, and care

Hosted by Marisa (he/they), Community Outreach Coordinator with Healthy Minds Cooperative & Wren Tian (they/he), program coordinator at the Health Equity Alliance of Nova Scotia.

If you have any questions, concerns, or accessibility needs, please email Marisa, marisa@healthyminds.ca.

This event was made possible through generous support from the DAWN Fund & the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia.
