Can you tell me about the venue?

Sure! Our studio is open, queer friendly, and wheelchair accessible. We have couches and cozy chairs in the front area, tables & chairs in the middle space, a kitchen and small back room that folks can use for a moment of quiet. We use lamps, rather than overhead lights.

How can I get to the venue?

We are located on East Hastings between Slocan and Penticton Streets. We are a 5-minute walk from the corner of Nanaimo Street and East Hastings. The 007 and R5 busses get you very close by! There is also free two hour parking out front and in back.

What language will be used?

While our conversation prompt decks are in English, they draw on images and can be helpful tools for ESL speakers.

Tell me more about the take home gift.

You will leave with a deck of InWithForward's Value Cards. We developed these cards to surface what really matters to people. Each card contains a word and a picture. We have used these cards 1000s of times, and find we always learn fresh things about ourselves & others.

Why do tickets range in price?

Accepted Answer

Tickets are on a sliding scale from  $5-70. We never want cost to be a barrier to engaging, and, we're testing ways to generate resources for our community-led work. One of the biggest challenges we face is financing ground-up work, and maintaining our independence from systems.
