Speed Networking Event

Young Canadians for Resources

Come and Join SFC for our Reading Week Speed Networking Event. Please read description for more information!

Calgary Petroleum Club

This is a great opportunity for industry representatives to meet up and coming young talent and hear about the work and projects that summer students completed over the last few months, while also getting an exclusive sneak-peek at SFC’s fall programming! The concept of the speed networking is simple: We will have a 4-minute timer, and in those 4 minutes, pairs of industry reps and young professionals will have a conversation, either with our prepared questions or their own. Then we will rotate, and re-start the timer! Please remember to bring business cards for exchange. If you do not have business cards, no sweat! SFC has blank cards for use. We ask that you invite anyone who may be interested in meeting the next generation of Industry leaders, as well as any summer students or young professionals you may employ who would be interested in networking with other young Canadians who work in the same industry. We will provide you with a fun and interactive way for company representatives to meet up and coming young professionals, free food & a couple free drinks, and a voucher for a safe ride home at the end of the event. What could be better than that?Check-in begins at 4:30 p.m and the event starts at 5 pm. We please ask that you RSVP
