Join CYAN for a focused, energizing networking event designed to help you build meaningful business connections in a short amount of time. CYAN is coordinating a guided speed networking experience as part of the Bow Valley Chamber of Commerce’s Bevvies & Business series, creating an approachable entry point for young professionals to connect with the broader Bow Valley business community.

This event is a great fit for young entrepreneurs, new business owners, and self-employed professionals who are looking to expand their network and learn from those who have already established themselves locally. While this isn’t a formal mentorship program, it offers a valuable opportunity to meet experienced business owners, hear different perspectives, and begin building relationships that can naturally grow into mentorship, collaboration, or future partnerships. If you’re building something of your own (or thinking about it) this is a chance to connect with people who understand the local landscape.

The evening will include a facilitated business speed networking session led by CYAN, featuring short, structured conversations that help you clearly share what you do and quickly identify aligned connections. The format is designed to be efficient and welcoming, keeping conversations focused while removing the pressure of traditional networking. After the speed networking rounds, there will be time for open networking so you can continue conversations.. CYAN staff will be on hand to guide the flow and ensure the experience feels inclusive, supportive, and accessible, whether this is your first networking event or one of many.

This is a business speed networking event, designed for self-employed professionals, entrepreneurs, and business owners who are looking to connect with the local business community. The event is hosted in partnership with the Bow Valley Chamber of Commerce, and attendees are encouraged to explore the BVCC website to learn more about the Chamber and consider membership if it aligns with their goals.

Accessibility notes

You are always welcome to attend CYAN events on your own - many people do! Our event staff are there to support you, and we often use light icebreakers to help everyone feel comfortable and included.

While CYAN’s programming is designed with young adults in mind, everyone is welcome to attend our events, except events involving alcohol, which are 18+ only.
