Spring Break D&D Day Camp
A Spring Break D&D Day Camp for kids aged 8-14 at Abbotsford's own Boardwalk Cafe & Games, running from Monday March 16 to Friday March 20
Prepare to explore a magical world of heroes and monsters as you join a band of adventurers, forging a destiny of myth and legend that bards will tell in story and song for years to come!
This day camp will run Monday, March 16th through Friday, March 20th, 9AM-12PM, for children aged 8-14. The cost per child is $250.
Over those 5 days, our expert Dungeon Masters will teach you how to create a character, fight monsters, and complete quests, as your character grows in power and skill!
Everything you need will be provided, including character sheets, pencils, a set of dice, and a firgurine of your character you'll paint yourself! All of these supplies will be yours to take home, to continue your adventures beyond this introduction to the hobby.
In addition, snacks and drinks will all be provided by Boardwalk Cafe & Games.
No experience with Dungeons & Dragons is required. Basic reading and math skills are a benefit, but certainly not a requirement. Our DMs will help out with anything you may need in the creation of your character and playing of the game. The most important thing is using your imagination and working together to have fun, and we will do all we can to create an environment where all kids feel comfortable doing so.
On the first day, you'll meet your DM, receive your dice and character sheet, and together with the rest of the players at your table your DM will teach you all how to create characters.
The next day we'll conclude any remaining character creation, and you will get to pick out a figurine to represent your character. Together we'll paint our figures, and as they dry you'll begin the game itself.
Continuing on through the week your DM will guide you through your adventure, and together with your fellow players you'll explore dungeons, solve puzzles, fight(or even befriend!) monsters, and all partake in an adventure you'll remember for the rest of your life!
Space is limited, so make sure to register early. One ticket per child.
