Through guided nature-themed artmaking and writing, we'll gather to reflect on seasonal transitions, honor personal endings, and set visual intentions for the year ahead. This is an invitation to replenish your spirit in community and embrace the equinox together.

What to Expect

  • A relaxed, welcoming atmosphere
  • Simple, guided creative activities (visual art, writing)
  • All supplies provided - just bring yourself

Where: Gordon Neighborhood House (Pink Room)

Bring/wear: Water bottle, comfortable clothing encouraged

Experience: None needed - all levels welcome

About the facilitator:

Mari is a compassionate and experienced expressive arts therapist, somatic experiencing practitioner, and group facilitator. With a deep commitment to trauma-informed care and creative practices, she brings a unique blend of therapeutic modalities to her counselling and group work. Passionate about the transformational powers of artmaking, she loves creating inclusive spaces for individual and collective healing and exploration.

Mari lives and works on the traditional, unceded homelands of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
