Event Details


Health, Wellness & Accessibility, Career Services, NCSAC, The Canadian Food and Wine Institute and CSEL have joined forces to bring you 'Spring into Your Best Self" - an evening about exploring the four foundations that will get you through life's challenges in a productive and positive way! The evening will centre around: Move, Think, Sleep, and Eat, and how focusing on these pillars will help you be your best self. If you want to learn more, and want a positive change in your life, be sure to register!

Event will take place in HT109, located in the CFWI building.


4:45 pm - 4:50 pm: Indigenous Welcome
4:50 pm - 5:00 pm: Event Introduction
5:00 pm - 5:30 pm: Keynote Speaker: Joanna Cielen
5:30 pm - 6:15 pm: Breakout Sessions
6:15 pm - 7:00 pm: Nutritious Meal Demo & Tasting [EAT]
7:00 pm - 7:20 pm: Wrap Up & Prizes

You must register for a breakout session. Each guest can only attend ONE breakout session, and there are limited spots available for each. In order for your registration to be complete, you MUST register for a breakout session. There are 3 sessions:

1) Wellness Walk (MOVE) - only 35 spots available

Weather permitting, we will be taking a walk around our beautiful campus trails and taking in the unique sights. Two lagoons, lots of nature, and beautiful scenery - a great way to get a few thousand steps and see what hiking trails are available! **Please dress appropriately to walk outside on our hiking trails (rubber boots, hiking boots, etc. - the trails are muddy!)

2) Mindful Masterpiece (THINK) - only 35 spots available 

Join us as we use the foundations of mindfulness to generate some creative flow.  This session will cover the basics of mindfulness and creativity.  No art experience necessary.  All tools will be provided as Michelle guides you through a dynamic and fun exercise. 

3) Yoga (SLEEP) - only 30 spots available 
**Please dress appropriately to take part in yoga and bring your own yoga mat if you own one!

Once you have registered online, you will be required to pick up a physical ticket at any of the following locations between 8:30am-4:30pm, Monday to Friday:

NOTL Campus

  • Engagement, Advising & Career Services in W115

Welland Campus

  • Engagement, Advising & Career Services in SE101


If you do not pick up your ticket before Monday, March 19th - your ticket will be available to the waitlist students. You must have a ticket to attend the event.
