Spring Pruning Workshop with VFTP!

The Vancouver Fruit Tree Project Society is dedicated toharvesting and sharing neighbourhood fruit.The Vancouver Fruit Tree Project is a non-profit society. Our volunteers harvest extra fruit from backyard fruit trees and share it with community groups. We are now in our 20th year of operation and have picked over 60,000 pounds of fruit to distribute at local community centres, neighbourhood houses, daycares and more. Vancouver Fruit Tree Project

A spring/summer pruning workshop taking a seasonal approach to getting the most out of your fruiting trees. Come learn how you can help your tree be happy and productive all year round! 
ISA certified arborist, Todd Barisky, will be demonstrating shoot pruning and sharing lessons from years of working as a local arborist. Todd will discuss pruning for bounty and tree health.  
The workshop will be held in the schoolyard, so please dress for the weather.
