SS Sicamous High Tea

The SS Sicamous is the largest surviving stern wheeler in BC. The ship is open as a heritage site, museum and premier Wedding venue. The Sicamous is operated by the SS Sicamous Society: a team of dedicated volunteers that work to protect the marine heritage of the Okanagan. Thanks for your support!

Friends of the SS Sicamous

Don’t be late for a very important date. Join us for an Alice and Wonderland inspired high tea on board the S.S. Sicamous. Bring your best hat and enjoy a touch of madness with us. Guest can roam throughout the ship while enjoying dainty snacks and sipping tea from vintage teacups. 
Funds raised will go towards restoration and reparations on the ships in the heritage park.
This event is always popular, and we expect it to be a sellout event. Tickets are $30.00 each (or $25 each for a group of 4 or more) and can be purchased at the boat itself (at 1099 Lakeshore Drive, Penticton) or online at eventbrite.com. 
Guests are advised to purchase in advance, as tickets will not be sold at the door. So grab your best costume and take the leap down the rabbit hole – to a time of elegance, madness and wonder with the high tea aboard the historic S.S. Sicamous.

What is included?: Tea, appetizers, desserts, live music, and a chance to experience a historic atmosphere!
Where can I buy tickets?: You can buy tickets here:  or in person at the SS Sicamous. Please note: Tickets will NOT be sold at door.
Do I have to dress up?: Only if you want to, but it makes it more fun!
Do I have to book in advance?: Yes, tickets will not be sold at the door.
What if I don’t like tea?: We will also have iced tea and coffee upon request.
Can I bring my granddaughter?: Yes, this event is for all ages!
What if I can’t use the stairs?: We recently installed an elevator! Just ask one of our volunteers to help.
Do I have to be there right at 1:30 or can I come after?: Yes, please arrive at 1:30 but you can leave whenever, you don’t have to stay until 3:30!
Where does the money go?: To the S.S. Sicamous Society for restorations and reparations on the ships in the heritage park.
Will the boat be open to the public?: The ship will only be open to high tea goers, members of the public will not be able to tour the ship that day,
Will there be live music?: Yes, there will be a pianist, and local musicians playing too.
