For 4 weeks, I will mix my financial journey with RBC expertise to provide you with an entertaining & relatable learning experience!

Presented with RBC &amp; The Playbook, The Reach Series is proud to present Starting Points! It will be 4 Sundays of short, chill, and hopefully relatable workshops surrounding Financial Literacy topics about: Wealth Building, Budgeting, Investing, and Interview/Scholarship Prep!Please share this with anyone who you think would benefit from learning more about making money! People often make talk about money pretty complicated, so I just want to make it fun!I don&#x27;t come from much financially, which is why I&#x27;ve been driven to understand how I can keep pursuing a path of financial freedom. I will be open, honest, and speak to experiences (as a former varsity athlete who went away for school) that have taught me important financial principles. I still have A LOT of ways to go (OSAP has a 3-1 lead on me), but I want to use what I&#x27;ve found so far to help you - no matter where you started in your journey!I&#x27;ll be working with Alexa Luckie, a savvy financial advisor from the RBC on Campus Team who will help combine my story with established financial theories. Stay tuned for guest speakers as well!Here is the current schedule:Week 1) Defining Financial Literacy &amp; Wealth Mindsets: We break down what it really means, spending habits and add some wealth building tips.Week 2) Strategic Budgeting Made Easy: We talk about the importance of budgeting &amp; convenient ways to implement it.Week 3) Understanding Investing &amp; TFSA&#x27;s: Everyone talks about investing more nowadays, so we want to really break down the basics - and recommended ways to invest!Week 4) Scholarship &amp; Interview Prep: To end it off, we will get into ways that you can present your best self when you are applying for whatever!Each workshop will be ~1 hour (45 minute workshop, w/10-15 mins Q &amp; A)I hope to see you there!
