About CBaSE: Housed within the College of Business and Economics and located in the newly renovated Macdonald Hall, The Centre for Business and Student Enterprise (CBaSE) is the home of entrepreneurship at the University of Guelph CBaSE shares a multidisciplinary co-working space where students and youth entrepreneurs can access on-campus business support and advisory services to turn their ideas into successful businesses. At CBaSE we approach entrepreneurship as a daily practice rather than a discipline. We are committed to offering access to entrepreneurial thinking and experiential learning which challenges the status quo.CBaSE enables collaboration with the local community and offers programs that have the potential to transform students' understanding of their disciplines, world-views and abilities. Startup Drinks is back by popular demand for the third year in a row! A collaboration between the <A HREF="http://www.uoguelph.ca/cbase/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Centre for Business and Student Enterprise</A> at the University of Guelph (CBaSE) and <A HREF="http://www.innovationguelph.ca/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Innovation Guelph</A>, it’s a simple concept: have a pint and connect with Guelph's entrepreneurial community.
It’s also a great opportunity to find new team members, practice your pitch, and learn about the resources that are available to entrepreneurs in Guelph.
Want to practice your pitch?
Startup Drinks is inviting up to 2-5 companies to pitch at the event. Pitches are to be no longer than 1 minute in length (no tech). If you are interested in telling the community what you do and what you need, let us know! Pitches will start at 6:00 PM sharp. Please remember that only 2-5 startups will have an opportunity to pitch, so sign up early!

The first event of the 2016-2017 series will take place on Thursday, September 29th from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Brass Taps at the University of Guelph. Light refreshments and door prizes will be provided.
This is a free event but we will be accepting donations towards the <A HREF="https://www.uoguelph.ca/unitedway/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">United Way University of Guelph campaign</A>! 
*Startup Drinks is open to all, non-alcoholic drinks are available!
