Startup Drinks &amp; Pitches is a collaboration between Startup Calgary and Rainforest Alberta, providing entrepreneurs with pitching opportunities for their scalable and tech-enabled ideas. Pitches are done to a group of fellow entrepreneurs, innovators and community members in a casual, no-pressure setting. This allows you to practice talking about your ideas, seek support from the community and network with like-minded individuals.*Pitching opportunities are for entrepreneurs with ideas that are highly scalable &amp; tech-enabled. Please do not enter to pitch if you are a consultant or service provider.*Agenda:<ul><li>6:00 PM - 6:10 PM: Introduction</li><li>6:10 PM - 7:10 PM: Virtual Tasting and Conversation</li><li>7:10 PM - 7:55 PM: Pitches</li><li>7:55 PM - 8:25 PM: Networking</li><li>8:25 PM - 8:30 PM: Conclusion</li></ul>Virtual Tasting and Conversation:Be the first 30 RSVPs to receive a complimentary beer or soda from our partner, Annex Ale Project, and participate in conversations with other fellow entrepreneurs and founders. If you are not the lucky ones, please still join us with a drink of your own and engage with casual conversations.Apply to pitch:Your 1-minute verbal pitch (no slides allowed!) should focus on: <ul><li>What problem you're solving</li><li>How you are going to solve that problem</li><li>What help you need to make it happen (ie: looking for a technical co-founder, looking for beta users, interested in connecting with a supplier, etc.)</li></ul>*Pitching opportunities are for entrepreneurs with ideas that are highly scalable &amp; tech-enabled.
