Staying Strong When Things Go Wrong
Half-day Course with Kelsang Rigma
When things go wrong in life - which they inevitably do - we often respond negatively, blaming the situation or the people involved. This can feel like a “double whammy” - not only do difficulties arise, but we also add our own unhappiness, frustration, or even depression on top.
In this course, you can learn positive ways to respond to the challenges that life presents -so that you can improve inner resilience and stay calm, strong, and balanced even when difficulties occur. Buddhist wisdom is gentle and helps us understand why challenges arise, and how we can transform what we perceive as setbacks into opportunities for growth, compassion, and inner development.
By attending this course, you will learn to:
- Cultivate emotional resilience and mental clarity in difficult situations
- Respond to challenges with calm, compassion, and wisdom
- Transform perceived setbacks into opportunities for personal growth
- Strengthen your capacity for inner peace and positivity
- Apply practical meditation techniques that support everyday life
The course is held in the peaceful, spacious, quiet and comfortable meditation room at Kadampa Meditation Centre Canada. We also have many books and materials available at our Temple shop to help people deepen their learning and experience through further reading.
No previous experience of meditation is required.
