Sting is a play almost ten years in the making. Written by local playwright and theatre artist Adreanna Boucher, it explores the cycle of mental illness and addictions through the lens of her own life. This will be its debut production.Synopsis: A woman rhapsodizes about her life up to now and how it&#x27;s inextricably intertwined with her mother&#x27;s own life and death. A poetic but brutally honest story of alcoholism, mental illness, and abuse, that carries a message of hope that those who suffer are not broken, but that the cycle of suffering can be.***Contains strong language and sensitive subject matter. Trigger warning: abuse, addictions, loss.
