Summer Camp 2026 provides a fun, supportive, and culturally enriching environment where young people can learn, grow, build confidence, and create lasting friendships. Through hands-on learning, creative exploration, leadership development, wellness activities, and community engagement, campers will discover new interests while developing valuable life skills.

Designed to celebrate culture, creativity, and personal growth, the camp encourages participants to explore their identities, strengthen their confidence, and build meaningful connections with their peers and community.

Campers will enjoy:

African heritage and cultural exploration

  • Learning about African histories, traditions, proverbs, and storytelling
  • Exploring the contributions of Black leaders, innovators, and changemakers
  • Participating in cultural celebrations and heritage activities
  • Discovering traditions from across the African and Caribbean diaspora

Creative arts and cultural expression

  • Visual arts, painting, drawing, and mixed-media projects
  • Beadwork, crafts, and cultural art activities
  • Spoken word, poetry, and creative storytelling
  • Collaborative art projects that encourage self-expression

STEM and future leaders lab

  • Hands-on science experiments and discovery activities
  • Engineering and problem-solving challenges
  • Technology and innovation projects
  • Learning about Black inventors, scientists, and innovators

Sports, wellness and active play

  • Team sports and cooperative games
  • Outdoor recreation and fitness activities
