Summer Dance Assembly

Dance Together Projectis about nurturing human connection and building community through dance. We offer exceptionally fun and inclusive dance programs for adults with a mission to facilitate enjoyable and engaging dance experiences for everybody, regardless of skill level or variations in physical ability. We also collaborate  with diverse artists to createinteractive performancesand produce the annualDance Together Festival.

These community workshops and open studio events are part of the Dance Together Artist Residencies 2024, presented in partnership with Assembly Park, Dance Together Festival, Dance Together Project and York Region Arts Council.

Summer Dance Assembly is a celebration of a fantastic first season of <a href="https://www.dancetogetherfestival.com/artists-in-residence" title="https://www.dancetogetherfestival.com/artists-in-residence" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Dance Together Residencies</a> and community dance workshop programming in partnership with <a href="https://assemblypark.ca/" title="https://assemblypark.ca/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Assembly Park</a> and <a href="https://www.yorkregionartscouncil.com/" title="https://www.yorkregionartscouncil.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">York Region Arts Council</a>.Join us for this special event, co-curated by dance artists<a href="https://www.katyakuznetsova.com/" title="https://www.katyakuznetsova.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"> Katya Kuznetsova</a> and <a href="https://www.instagram.com/melhart1/?hl=en" title="https://www.instagram.com/melhart1/?hl=en" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Mel Hart</a>. There will be FREE community dance and visual art workshops, dance performances featuring local dance artists and a local artisan market!
