Join the TCA-AI Workshop for hands-on AI exploration, engaging discussions, and networking with researchers and innovators in climate action
TCA-AI Workshop
Welcome to the TCA-AI Workshop!
This workshop will explore how artificial intelligence can help transform climate action by enabling new approaches to understanding, monitoring, and responding to climate change. Building on the Transforming Climate Action (TCA) initiative, the workshop will bring together researchers, practitioners, and other stakeholders to examine how AI can be integrated with climate and ocean science, data, and modelling.
Participants will explore emerging opportunities and challenges associated with AI-enabled climate research and decision-making, including the use of large and complex datasets, advanced modelling, environmental monitoring, and tools for translating scientific knowledge into climate action. The workshop will also consider questions around responsible and sustainable AI, including data quality, transparency, computational impacts, and the role of interdisciplinary collaboration.
Through presentations, discussion, and interactive sessions, the workshop aims to identify promising applications, research opportunities, and pathways for collaboration at the intersection of AI, climate science, and action.
