Tebwewin - TruthJoin the Indigenous Initiatives Office for an enlightening event focused on the importance of Tebwewin - Truth.This gathering will take place at the Nawapon - Building C at Algonquin College - Ottawa Campus, providing a space for Residential School survivors as they share and reflect in circle; on the impacts of the Residential Schools.In honor of September 30th, the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation, we have invited David Decontie - a member of Kitigan Zibi, Tony Quedent - a member of the Treaty 3 area, and Jenny Tenasco - a member of Kitigan Zibi to join us in circle.This circle will be open to Algonquin students and Staff, those who participate are asked to be present for the circle's entirety, and no video or photography be taken during the circle.Light refreshments will be provided.
