Event description
Join Abby in a guided paper-cutting session to learn what it takes to draft and cut a paper print from start to finish.

About this Event

Get firsthand experience paper-cutting with Abby in this three-hour workshop. From start to finish, participants will learn how to draft, cut, and layer handmade paper to create an original piece. Drawing inspiration from the plants and themes used in the Twenty-Five series, participants will first cut their own ginkgo leaves and then design and cut imagery related to healing and growth.

All materials will be provided.

Abby Ho is the Artistic Director of Project 40 Collective, and Managing Editor at LooseLeaf Magazine. She considers herself a paper artist, working with the medium to create sculptures, cutouts, and paintings. By concealing and revealing elements on layered paper, Abby's work captures moments of nostalgia and quiet happenings. Find her at @ayebbey.
