<A HREF="http://instagram.com/thebluejaycafe" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">The Blue Jay Cafe</A>, a Southern-style pop-up is arriving in Calgary and taking over the Oak Tree Tavern just in time for <A HREF="https://www.ccma.org/cmw_overview.html" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">CCMA Country Music Week</A> and will feature plenty of Nashville-inspired eats, great beer, whisky and some amazing Canadian country talent!
Nightly from Sept. 4-7, two sets of country singers will perform in songwriter circle sessions reminescent of iconic country music venues such as The Listening Rooom and the Bluebird Cafe. We put the call out to Canadian country acts across the country and have assembled sessions featuring a mix of amazing musicians that range from emerging talents to Juno and CCMA Award nominees.
During these sets, attendees can order from a fun and tasty menu full of Nashville-inspired eats that include a fried Empire Provisions bologna sandwich, "hot chicken" tenders with remoulade dip, fried chicken sandwich with Kool-Aid pickles and a sweet, <A HREF="https://googoo.com/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Goo Goo Cluster</A> pie for dessert.
