The Crash Test Dummies
Overview
Crash Test Dummies rose to international fame in the early 1990s, earning three GRAMMY nominations, multiple JUNO Awards, and global chart success with their smash hit “Mmm, Mmm, Mmm, Mmm.”
Led by the unmistakable baritone of Brad Roberts, the band became a defining voice of Canadian alternative rock. Their cover of “The Ballad of Peter Pumpkinhead” became a standout track on the Dumb and Dumber soundtrack and further showcased their distinctive folk-rock fusion.
After a twenty-year hiatus, the group reunited in 2018 for a celebratory tour of their landmark album God Shuffled His Feet, leading to extensive touring across the US, Canada, the UK, Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands.
Their live show features original members Brad Roberts, Ellen Reid, Dan Roberts, and Mitch Dorge, joined by guitarist Stuart Cameron and keyboardist Leith Fleming-Smith, delivering a dynamic performance filled with nostalgic hits and fan favourites.
2025 also marks the release of their Greatest Hits double vinyl, featuring their first new songs in fifteen years - “Sacred Alphabet” and “When First the Heart” - along with a live version of the fan favourite “Heart of Stone.”
