Description

For many chefs and their brigades, curry is the ultimate family-style staff meal, the proud product of a cook's cultural heritage.

On Monday, March 7, from 6h30 pm to 9h30 pm, eight of Vancouver's top chefs will compete in the third annual Curry Cup, hosted by Fred Lee from FredAboutTown.

Join the Chefs' Table Society of British Columbia and its panel of participating chefs and judges:

  • Trevor Bird - Fable Restaurant

  • Andrea Carlson - Burdock & CO

  • Clement Chan - Torafuku

  • Justin Cheung - Longtail Kitchen

  • Jonathan Chovancek - Cook Culture/Bittered Sling

  • Westley Feist - Showcase Restaurant & Bar

  • Tret Jordan - Homer Street Cafe

  • Roger Ma - Boulevard

Judges: Meeru Dhalwala, Barbara-Jo McIntosh, Mijune Pak, Rob Ratcliffe and Sonia Beeksma

Parts of the proceeds will be given to Growing Chefs.

Tickets to the Curry Cup are $60 and include eight unique international curries highlighting diverse flavours from around the world served by the competing chefs, along with beer from R&B Brewing, wine from Evolve Cellars, cocktails from Bittered Sling and Jameson Whiskey, Chai tea from The Chai Company, gelato from Bella Gelateria and a treat from Three Farmers. Our partners in this event are Pinnacle Distribution, Lonsdale Event Rentals, Promosa, Pinnacle Distribution and Green Century, Town Hall Communication, and Growing Chefs.
