The Fugitives

For 40 years, The Saskatoon Jazz Society has presented live jazz in Saskatoon at The Bassment, one of Canada’s most respected and revered live music venues. The Bassment is an all ages venue offering over 180 live music events every year.

They’re joined by Chris Suen (bandjo) and Carly Frey (violin). Since forming in 2027, the band has recorded six five albums, been nominated for a JUNO and numerous CFMA and WCMAs, and toured extensively through Canada, Europe, and the UK. The Fugitives have earned a reputation for unforgettable live shows, brimming with complex harmonies, infectious storytelling, and top-notch musicianship.
