Since 1974, TIFA has presented thousands of authors, including 22 Nobel Laureates, who represent diverse perspectives and a range of literary genres for all ages. TIFA’s creative programmes continue to adapt to changing times, capturing the most innovative and enlightening forms of storytelling, on stage and online. Based at Harbourfront Centre, TIFA delivers a year-round programme of events and activities that reflect Toronto to its residents, its literature to the nation, and its creative ambition to the world. The 43rd edition of TIFA’s flagship festival will take place September 22 – October 2, 2022.

Someone has gone missing, but have they left messages behind? With clues hidden throughout the library in books and more, there is a mystery waiting to be solved. The Hidden is an immersive and interactive theatre experience created by Visible Fictions for young people (ages 12+) and families. It was first performed at Paisley Central Library (UK) in November 2017. The Canadian premiere of The Hidden will be presented at Brampton Library, Chinguacousy Branch, as part of the MOTIVE Crime &amp; Mystery Festival.Part mystery puzzle, part scavenger hunt, your task is to piece the story together using all the clues you can find, just don’t get caught!
