✨ Welcome Dears! ✨You are invited into an inward journey; a space to meet yourself again.This is not your typical ecstatic dance, dear ones.This is a conscious movement experience, through an original approach inspired by the essence of 5Rhythms, where we explore cycles of flow, expression, release, and stillness through the body.It is a space for those who feel the call to go deeper; to listen, to move, to soften, and to meet themselves in a more honest way. 🌊 The EXPERIENCE 🌊We gather in an intentional circle to explore the body as a living instrument…guided by rhythm, breath, silence, and subtle awareness. The evening unfolds as a carefully held journey:<ul><li>Opening circle (arrival, grounding, intention)</li><li>Astrological insight and cues for your dance from Paz</li><li>Guided internal practice with Christine</li><li>90-minute conscious movement journey</li><li>Integration and closing</li></ul> 🔥 The MOVEMENT JOURNEY 🔥From there, we enter the dance.Not performance.Not escape.But an invitation to move from within.Paz will weave sound through DJing and live percussion, creating a rhythmic landscape that supports both activation and release.This movement practice follows the shape of a wave. It begins gently, inviting you to arrive in your body. From there, the energy gradually builds, guiding you to move with greater intention.As the body warms up, the practice opens into a stronger phase of intensity, release, and fuller expression. This is followed by a more graceful and creative layer of movement, before gently returning you to stillness, where you can process and integrate the journey back on the floor, right where you began.You are invited to:<ul><li>Move as you are</li><li>Rest when needed</li><li>Follow your body’s intelligence</li><li>Feel what is true</li></ul> 🌙 CLOSING &amp; INTEGRATION 🌙We will close gently, with rest and integration.A warm cup of Ayurvedic golden milk (non-dairy) will be offered near the end, to ground the body and soften the transition back into the evening. ⚖️ Is This For You? ⚖️This space is intentionally intimate (within yourself, especially)It is for those who are:<ul><li>Willing to be present</li><li>Respectful of shared space</li><li>Open to an embodied, inward experience</li></ul>More: if you are looking for a party, this may not be for you.And, if you are seeking something real, grounded, and sincere: you are warmly welcome here. 🌿 ABOUT THE FACILITATORS 🌿 ~ Paz&amp;Flow DJ ~Originally from Mexico City and born again in Canada in 2010, Paz is an astrologer, community leader, healer, workshop, meditation facilitator, mediator, drummer, percussionist, DJ, and multimedia event organizer.Paz is based in Collingwood, ON where he is the creator, director, programmer and incubator at Resonance Cultural Centre, a nonprofit community space designed to create, connect and evolve. At Resonance, he DJs weekly on Sunday mornings with a growing community of mindful dancers.When DJing in these intentional contexts, Paz creates an immersive soundscape that blends rhythms and music of the world, electronic textures, and live drumming. The music intuitively shifts and evolves based on the energies of those present in the space. His approach is gentle yet firm, sonically reminding the dancers and movers of their purpose, which is to find their place, to regulate, and be kind with themselves.As a DJ Paz has over 20 years of experience performing at a variety of events, ecstatic dances, ceremonies, and festivals, such as: Solstice OM, Future Forest, Sonic Springs, Soulshine and more!For those familiar with Soulshine, Paz has been in charge of creating the electronic music stage “Glow” at the previous 2 editions of Soulshine in Newcastle, ON. ~ Christine Lamothe ~Christine has been creating spaces for people to gather since 1997. Her roots began in the world of breaking, where as a b-girl she taught, performed, and organized events that brought community together through movement, expression, and shared experience.This path carried her north to Iqaluit (2006–2017), where she founded the cultural breakdance crew Kaiva, collaborating &amp; performing across Canada, including at the 2010 Winter Olympics, the 2009 IndSpire Awards and Canada Winter Games. During this time, she also created Saimavik, a yoga and movement studio rooted in connection and community in the North.Now based in her home town of Ottawa, her work has shifted into a new iteration of togetherness and wholeness. As a Registered Massage Therapist, she weaves together decades of lived experience with her ongoing devotion to yoga, her studies in Ayurveda as she works toward becoming an Ayurvedic Health Counsellor, and earth-honouring traditions, including Druid and Red Path teachings.Christine’s approach is grounded, relational, and deeply human; shaped through years of practice, presence, and lived experience. ✨ How This Came Together ✨This offering emerged through a series of aligned conversations, sparked by a mutual connection who had experienced Paz’s DJ set at Dance Temple in 2024 and sensed a natural resonance between Christine and Paz.As they connected, a shared orientation toward presence, integrity, and the power of music as a gateway into embodied awareness became clear.From there, this event took shape. 🌍 Why This Work 🌍In a time where attention is constantly pulled outward, there is a quiet necessity to return inward.To strengthen our inner ground.To listen more closely.To remember our own center. This space is offered in that spirit.Not as entertainment,but as a place of reconnection.
