Event description

Description

Henri Toulouse-Lautrec’s famous depictions of the underbelly of Paris – including his vision of the Moulin Rouge – take on a bold new life in this intimate cabaret-style performance. Artistic relationships, tensions and passions run wild amid a cacophony of dance, music, drama and movement. Glamour and destitution, beauty and ugliness blend in this visceral exploration of sexuality, presentation and entertainment

Join Theatre Encounter for their third exploration of the way in which Expressionist paintings are translated into movement.

Featuring Sarah Haggeman, Amy Hinz and Rico Pfeiffer

Directed by Celene Harder

Designed by Kelsey Miller

Seating in the Abattoir Studio is limited, so reservations are strongly recommended!
