The Practical/Hands on Endodontic CE
Sponsored by Patterson Dental and Aylmer Family Dental
The Practical Endodontic Course is an intensive, clinically focused program designed to strengthen participants’ confidence and efficiency in performing root canal treatment. The course begins with a concise, evidence-based lecture of approximately one hour reviewing modern endodontic principles, techniques, and clinical decision-making. Following this introduction, participants will move into an extended hands-on session of more than five hours where they will perform the complete endodontic workflow.
Under the supervision of experienced instructors, attendees will practice access cavity preparation, canal shaping, irrigation and disinfection, obturation with bioceramic sealers, and final restoration. The distinguishing feature of this course is the strong emphasis on guided clinical practice. Participants will work closely with experienced clinicians who provide real-time guidance, troubleshooting, and practical tips that can be directly applied in daily practice. The course focuses on efficient workflows, predictable outcomes, and the integration of modern endodontic materials and techniques.
Objectives
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
• Review the biological and mechanical objectives of modern endodontic therapy.
• Perform conservative and accurate access cavity preparation.
• Apply effective canal shaping techniques to facilitate irrigation and disinfection.
• Implement irrigation protocols to enhance canal cleaning and microbial control.
• Perform obturation using contemporary bioceramic sealers.
• Restore endodontically treated teeth with an appropriate coronal seal.
• Integrate practical clinical tips to improve efficiency, predictability, and treatment outcomes in daily practice.
• Gain confidence in performing endodontic procedures through more than five hours of guided hands-on training with experienced instructors.
