Do I need to be super fit to participate?

Not at all. You know your body best, so you can move at your own pace, vibe with the music, or enjoy the atmosphere from one of the chairs around the room. The STRUT Experience™ is about energy, not perfection. This is YOUR experience — you do you!

Question 2

What should I wear?

Accepted Answer

Anything you feel good moving in. Light layers are helpful so you can adjust your comfort level. Most women will be in fitness wear and sneakers (i.e. gym flats or cross trainers). Please note: snowy or wet shoes/boots won’t be permitted on the dance floor to keep everyone safe and the space dry.

What should I bring?

Water, comfortable shoes, and a dash of attitude. Everything else is on us!

Question 4

Is there parking?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Norwood Community Centre offers free onsite parking. Arriving a bit early will help you get a spot close to the entrance.

Can I participate if I prefer to be seated?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Chairs will be available around the room, and you’re welcome to enjoy the music, energy, and atmosphere from your seat. You’re part of the experience no matter how you participate.
