Five years ago, Dr. MacLuckie was at a college football game in Michigan state.  While  crossing the street he was hit by a car and suffered a multitude of severe, traumatic injuries.  He was dead at the scene with no vital signs.  He was revived and in an induced coma for 3 weeks. 
Life threw him a major curveball.  The question was then:  how did he react to the pitch?  How did Greg re-claim and re-write his life in the face of this overwhelming challenge?
