Third Space Night

Third Space Night

2950 Laurel StVancouver, BC
Wednesday, Mar 25 from 7 pm to 9 pm
Overview

Our monthly gatherings are a ‘third space’ for intentional connection, meaningful conversations & building community in Vancouver, BC.

March Theme: Slowing Down

Sometimes the world can feel like it's on high speed- too much, too fast, all the time. So this month we're slowing things down at Third Space and creating a space to just be present together. Join us for a night of 'Slow Hangs' - space to take a break from screens and social media, enjoy peaceful activities, and hangout in community.

We'll start the night with a mindfulness practice to help us come into the present moment. Then choose one of our slow activities- crafts, games, puzzles, colouring and more - or bring your own peaceful activity to enjoy in good company. Non-alcoholic drinks, homemade treats, and snacks provided.

Spaces are limited to keep the gathering connective, so register now to slow down with us on March 25. To help contribute to event costs and keep Third Space running, select a 'Pay What You Can' ticket.

About Third Space:

We host monthly gatherings that bring people together across ages and backgrounds to connect, have genuine conversations, and build community in Vancouver, BC. We're intentional about creating a warm, welcoming and connective 'third space' (places outside of home and work/school to be around community) where there's no networking pressure or phone scrolling - just good people and thoughtful chats.

Join us on the last Wednesday of every month for:

  • Activities to meet new people
  • Inspiring talks from local community-builders
  • Small group conversations
  • A ‘live community board’ to share what’s happening around the city
  • Open space to just hangout- did we mention there's always dessert?

Third Space Nights are designed to make connection easier, with friendly volunteers to welcome you, guided activities, and conversation prompts. Each gathering explores a theme that sparks meaningful conversation - like how to meet your neighbours in a big city or how food brings people together.

Third Space is a grassroots initiative run entirely by volunteers. We are not a registered non-profit or charity. 'Pay what you can' tickets and any other contributions go directly towards covering event costs. If you have questions or would like to get involved, reach out at thirdspacevancouver@gmail.com.
