Question 1

I'm nervous to come alone. What can I expect?

Accepted Answer

You won't be the only one - lots of people come solo! Each gathering is a mix of new and familiar faces. Our friendly volunteers are there to welcome you, and each gathering has activities and conversation prompts to make connection easier.

Question 2

Can I come late or leave early?

Accepted Answer

As spots are limited and gatherings are often sold out, we hope you can attend for most of the gathering. We usually begin activities 10 minutes after the start time. We know that life happens - don't stress if public transit has other plans.

Question 3

I'm not really a 'community-builder'. Is this still for me?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely - many people come to Third Space just to connect with good folks in a cozy space. Community is something we create together, not something that falls on anyone alone.

Question 4

Can I bring children?

Accepted Answer

Third Space welcomes community members of all ages - if you're bringing children, please let us know in advance and we'll try to incorporate child-friendly activities where possible. Please reserve a ticket for each person attending in your party.

Question 5

Who organizes Third Space ? How can I get involved?

Accepted Answer

Third Space is a totally volunteer-run non-profit initiative. If you're interested in collaborating or volunteering to support our work, visit thirdspacegatherings.org/#getinvolved.
