THRIVE will be hosting a talk as part of the Vancouver Mural Festival! 
Are you curious about the artists creating murals for Vancouver Mural Fest? Hear from some of the contemporary female artists who are involved in the festival about why they do what they do and the stories behind their work! 
THRIVE Talks is a speakers series that invites female—including those who are cis, trans, gender non-binary, gender-fluid and femme-identified—artists to share their journeys, their work and why they do what they do. Each THRIVE TaIk is held in an intimate setting that allows for a unique opportunity to get to know the speakers and attendees.

- Carmen Chan 
- Lauren Brevner
- Vanesa Galdeano and Anali Chanquia (Medianeras) 
-Siobhan Joseph
We host these talks to give artists a space, not just to make art, but to speak about their work as well! Be inspired, share a laugh and enjoy a fun evening with other creative and curious souls. All genders and people are welcome to attend the event. 
 
Things to Note:
These talks are sometimes deeply personal and speakers are invited to share their personal as well as artistic journeys. Please be aware that because of this there may be the possibility of content shared that may be triggering for you. We do not edit or curate any of the speakers talks beforehand but if you have any questions please be in touch. 
By registering for this event you have agreed to have your email address included in THRIVE's weekly newsletters mailing list (you can still unsubscribe if you don't find it useful, but we think you will!) and waive rights to any photos/videos taken at the event.
