Where is TESL Toronto’s TOSCON 25 taking place?

How can I get to the venue?

The venue is easily accessible by TTC and is right by Dundas Station (Line 1). Look out for TESL Toronto volunteers —they’ll be there to guide you.

Can I purchase a ticket at the door?

There will be extremely limited tickets at the door for $75 (regardless of TESL Ontario membership). To avoid disappointment, please register ahead of time on Eventbrite, especially as this event is likely to sell out.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, you do not. You can simply show us your e-ticket/order confirmation on your mobile phone or photo ID with the purchasing name on Eventbrite.

What's the refund policy?

Sorry, we do not offer refunds. If you cannot attend the event, you may transfer your ticket to a friend or colleague.

What should I bring into the event?

You are not required to bring anything, but some sessions may require the use of a device for audience participation. (Don't worry, we have wifi!). You are also more than welcome to take notes in the sessions (so, a pen/pencil and paper or laptop could be helpful if you prefer that!).

Will there be food at this event?

Yes! We will be offering a continental breakfast during registration and a buffet-style lunch. Vegetarian/Vegan options will be available. Please speak to a TESL Toronto executive member should you have any dietary restrictions.

Will photos be taken at this event?

Accepted Answer

Photos will be taken for our social media pages. If you do not want to be in a photograph, kindly let a TESL Toronto Executive member know at the venue.

Question 9

Do I get PD hours for this event?

Accepted Answer

While do not issue certificates, but you will receive 6 hours or PD. Please save your Eventbrite proof of payment receipt (for 6 PD hours) should you be audited by TESL Ontario.
