A practical, hands-on, two-day development pathway that helps organization develop stronger leaders and improve performance.
TPS Foundations Development Pathway
Build Better Leaders. Build Better Organizations.
The TPS Foundations Development Pathway is a practical, hands-on, two-day development program designed to help organizations improve operational performance, develop stronger leaders, and build a culture of continuous improvement.
Rather than learning through lectures alone, participants experience the principles through interactive simulations, team-based exercises, coaching, discussion, and practical application.
Whether you're trying to reduce recurring operational problems, improve workflow, strengthen leadership capability, or create a more consistent approach to continuous improvement, this pathway provides a practical foundation that can be applied immediately within your own organization.
What You'll Learn
Over two highly interactive days, participants will:
- Develop a structured approach to solving recurring operational problems.
- Improve workflow and organizational alignment.
- Learn practical leadership and coaching behaviours that develop people.
- Build stronger daily management routines.
- Understand how sustainable continuous improvement is created and maintained.
- Leave with practical skills and experience that can be applied immediately.
The Two-Day Pathway
Day 1 – Toyota Production System Simulation
Experience how operational decisions influence safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and teamwork through a hands-on simulation that brings the principles of the Toyota Production System to life.
Day 2 – Toyota Kata Improvement Workshop
Build on the foundation established on Day 1 by learning a practical approach to scientific thinking, coaching, experimentation, and continuous improvement through repeated PDCA cycles and guided practice.
Together, the two days provide a complete introduction to the thinking and leadership behaviours that support sustainable operational excellence.
