Since 1989, Trent Valley Archives has promoted the preservation, identification and care of archives in the Trent Valley region. We support access to archival collections, as well as the development of public regional and county or municipal archives. We encourage businesses and organizations to archive pertinent records, and help individuals to care for their documents. Moreover, since 1998, we have maintained an archival repository with a collections mandate to accept original and copied archival documents relating to the Trent Valley. At present, we have about 1000 cubic feet of documents relating to people, events and places connected with the Trent Valley.

Little Lake Cemetery

A walking tour featuring tales of woe from the early days of Peterborough.We take the safety of our attendees and volunteer guides very seriously. Screening prior to each tour will be done and we will adhere to appropriate physical distancing throughout the tour. The wearing of masks is strongly encouraged. While everyone is welcome, we encourage you to enjoy the tours with members of your circle.Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?No, this tour is all ages. However, there is sensitive material on the tour so keep that in mind when bringing children. What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?There is parking in the cemetery near the chapel, as well as on Church St. leading up to the cemetery. Unfortunately we cannot refund event tickets except in the case of event cancellation by the Trent Valley Archives when no alternate date is provided. If you wish to exchange your tickets for the same type/cost of event offered on a different date please contact the Trent Valley Archives at 705-745-4404 and this will be accommodated where ever possible.Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?Please bring a copy of your printed ticket to the event.
