TECHEQUITY PANEL DISCUSSION

Drawing on their diverse perspectives, Dr. Andrew Boozary (primary care physician and Executive Director of Population Health and Social Medicine at UHN), Dr. Arij Al Chawaf (Executive Director, Strategic Initiative Development at the Institutional Strategic Initiatives Office at U of T), and Dr. Surath Gomis (Co-founder and Director of R&D at Arma Biosciences) will discuss equity gaps in care, the potential for digital health to bridge divides and empower patients, and how innovations can be developed for equity.

A panel made up of people with lived experience, commercialization experts, and clinicians will deliberate on which team will be awarded a $10,000 TRANSFORM HF Collaboration Starter Grant.
