Transforming Adversity

Overview
When our negative actions ripen, suffering is unavoidable; we can only stay patient, accept hardship, and keep the mind steady and positive.
Once the effects of our negative actions have already ripened it is impossible to avoid them, and not even a Buddha can prevent our suffering. The only thing we can do is practise patience and happily accept our difficulties. In this way we keep our mind in a balanced and positive state, no matter how bad our external circumstances may be.
In this short series, we will look at what we need to do with our mind in these challenging situations.
