We're bringing equity to the forefront of transportation planning & decision making in Ottawa.

The Healthy Transportation Coalition and EnviroCentre are pleased to bring you the 2017 Transportation Equity Summit. This year’s summit provides a platform for the ongoing dialogue needed to achieve equitable transportation in Ottawa.

This full-day event will provide an opportunity for professionals, decision makers and residents to come together to learn about and discuss the challenges and opportunities facing equitable transportation in Ottawa.

Whether you are an affected resident, a decision-maker, or you work in a field where you see the impact on marginalized populations, you will contribute to and benefit from participating in the Summit.

Cost to register: $30

Subsidies are available for registration, transit costs, and childcare. Contact transport@envirocentre.ca or 613-656-0100 ext 129 for details.

Lunch and snacks will be provided (gluten-free and vegan/vegetarian options).

Themes:

  • Prioritizing equity in transportation planning
  • Challenges in public transportation
  • Social housing and other promising practices in transportation equity
  • Actions for more grassroots participation

The day will include:
