Post Productions provides intimately-staged entertaining theatrical experiences that arouse the heart and fuel the mind, drawing patrons into lives quite unlike their own to help them understand the world, other people, and themselves with fresh insight. As a unique brand of theatre, Post Productions complements the Windsor-Essex scene by staging provocative productions for audiences that want more for their dollar – audiences looking for experiences rather than distractions, who need to be challenged and provoked, who want to think and feel and learn and take in the full spectrum of human possibility.

Tickets: $20 in advance at postproductionswindsor.ca or at the door In Sam Shepard's high-energy modern classic, Austin -- a Hollywood acreenwriter -- is house-sitting for his mother, hoping for some time away from family and other distractions so he can finish his latest script. Unfortunately his estranged older brother, Lee -- a con-man and drifter -- arrives as well, hoping to use their mother's home as a base of operations while he steals from the neighbours. As the brothers attempt to negotiate a shaky truce, they find themselves forced to work together -- and become everything they both envy and loathe about each other. As the San Francisco Chronicle wrote, TRUE WEST is "clear, funny, naturalistic. It's also opaque, terrifying, surrealistic. If that sounds contradictory, you're on to one aspect of Shepard's winning genius; the ability to make you think you're watching one thing while at the same time he's presenting another."
