Question 1

What does my ticket include?

Accepted Answer

Your ticket includes two drink tickets (valid for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages), both passed hors d'oeuvres and food stations, and all entertainment, as well as complimentary coat check.

Question 2

Is my registration/ticket transferable?

Accepted Answer

TSA Member Tickets are NON-transferable and valid only for the registered named ticket holder. General Admission tickets may be transferred as they are full price. Refunds are available up to 72 hours before the event.

Question 3

Can I extend my TSA Member discount to family and friends?

Accepted Answer

Each discounted Member Ticket must be registered to a unique member (1 ticket per member). All member tickets will be checked against membership lists; you CANNOT extend your discount to those coming with you.

Question 4

What is the refund policy?

Accepted Answer

Refunds for online ticket purchases are available up to 72 hours (3 days) before the event. Within 72 hours of the event no refunds will be permitted. To request a refund, please email tsa@torontosocietyofarchitects.ca.

Question 5

Will there be tickets available at the door to purchase?

Accepted Answer

The TSA BASH often sells out, so we encourage you to purchase your ticket in advance online in order to avoid disappointment. If space is available, limited tickets will be available at the door.

Question 6

Do I have to bring my ticket to the event?

Accepted Answer

YES! To make check-in as easy as possible, please have your ticket displayed on your device. If you don’t have a device, we are able to check in guests using the full name as it appears on the ticket.

Question 7

Is it an open bar?

Accepted Answer

This year, in an effort to maintain ticket prices, we have introduced drink tickets rather than having an open bar. All attendees will receive 2 drink tickets when they check in. A cash bar will then be available for anyone wanting more drinks!

Question 8

How do I get to the event via transit?

Accepted Answer

The best way to get to Waterworks’ Events Entrance (15 Maud St.) is to take the subway via Line 1 (Yonge-University) to Osgoode Station. You can then walk from the station (approx. 20 minutes) or take the 501 Queen Streetcar westbound to the Augusta Avenue stop and walk south.

Question 9

Can you store my coat/bag?

Accepted Answer

We're happy to provide complimentary coat check and bag check for all BASH attendees. Though we encourage you to only bring what you need as limited space is available.

Question 10

Where is the nearest parking?

Accepted Answer

We highly encourage you to take public transit or bike to this event. If you do need to drive, we encourage you to carpool if possible. There is a limited amount of on-site paid underground parking available. You can enter the underground parking on the Maud Street side of Waterworks.

Question 11

Is this venue accessible?

Accepted Answer

All three levels of Waterworks (lower-level universal washrooms, the main level of the food hall, the second floor event hall spaces and washroom) are accessible. The Maud Street entrance and courtyard patio are accessible by ramp, and the Brant Street entrance is fully accessible.

Question 12

Where can I park my bike?

Accepted Answer

There is bike parking on the east and west sides of St. Andrew’s Playground Park. There is also a bike sharing station on the west side of the park on Maud Street.
