Whether you're a seasoned pro or a beginner, this event is perfect for anyone looking to have a great time and learning dance technique on the way. Don't miss out on the chance to experience the "havana nights" right here in Hamilton! *note - agenda below is for beginners, however if there are higher level dancers, a weight transfer/body movement/styling choice/musical variation will be given to you

Week 1

Weight transfer, connection, pivoting (basics, right turn)

Week 2

Review, practice, co-ordination  (left turn)

Week 3

Review, practice, frame and leading  (different hand holds, closed frame)

Week 4

Review, Practice, changing positions (cross body lead)

Week 5

Review, Practice, Variations of changing positions (traveling left and right)

Week 6

Review, Practice, Connection Variation (back break)

Week 7

Review, Practice, Memorization (turn pattern)

Week 8

Review & Practice, Creativity  (salsa games)
