ManACE - 2022 MTS PD Day Sessions

Thanks for considering attending a ManACE event for this year's MTS PD Day!  We've got some great sessions taking place in various Manitoba locations :-)

Please Note: Your ManACE membership fee for 2022-2023 is included in the registration cost. You do not need to be an existing ManACE member to register. A catered lunch will also be provided for all attendees and we&#x27;ll check in about dietary restrictions leading up to the event.<h3>SESSION TITLE</h3><h3>Twinmotion Workshop - Unreal Educator Accelerator Program</h3>New Media Manitoba has partnered with Fair Chance Learning and Epic Games to offer this professional learning opportunity for educators to learn the real-time skills needed to succeed in game development, architecture, film and TV, automotive, and more.

Interactive 3D is changing the way we live and work, opening countless jobs for students who want to explore new careers in advertising, architecture, films, games, engineering, and more. But as an education professional, how can you learn this method and incorporate it directly into your teaching?

Twinmotion Workshop 
Twinmotion and Unreal Engine are a powerful set of tools that can help us visualize the architectural world. Using these programs in conjunction with one another can enable students to creatively and intelligently develop complex projects.
 
 In this Professional learning experience, you will learn the following:
· How to access Twinmotion
· The basics of movement and navigation
· Sculpting land
· Importing third-party assets
· Creating interactive 3D spaces
· The resources available to support with classroom integration

New Media Manitoba is the Sector Council lead for Information, Communication and Digital Technologies and non-profit industry association dedicated to supporting Manitoba’s Interactive Digital Media (IDM) industry. 
NMM fosters growth in the IDM industry through education and skills training, creating IDM workforce awareness through collaboration with K12 through post secondary, business development and market access support, emerging talent and employment diversity programs, networking and expert-led events, and government advocacy work.
