UBCO 3MT Final

The College of Graduate Studies at UBC's Okanagan campus supports graduate students and postdoctoral fellows in attaining personal, professional, and academic excellence. Students are empowered to explore their research interests; challenge ideas and theories; innovate; and help create new knowledge, understanding, and expression.

Faculty, staff, students and the general public are invited to watch the UBCO Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Final, hosted by the College of Graduate Studies on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Kelowna’s Innovation Centre.
Hosted by Rick Webber of Global TV, 3MT is a showcase of graduate student research at UBC's Okanagan campus. Participants have just three minutes to explain the breadth and significance of their research project to a non-specialist audience. Students can use only one slide, and are not allowed to use props or aids. This year’s event will also include an accomplished UBC researcher sharing their UBCO research journey. The 3MT Final event will be followed by a reception where attendees can mingle with presenters.
Everyone is welcome! Seating is limited and will be available on a first come, first served basis. Please confirm your attendance by securing a ticket now.
