When and where is the Easter Bazaar taking place?

Everyone is welcome! Whether you're deeply rooted in Ukrainian traditions or simply curious about the culture, this event promises unforgettable Easter joy for all.

Will there be arts, crafts, and treasures available for purchase?

Yes, you can explore and purchase a variety of locally crafted or authentically sourced Ukrainian arts and crafts, traditional style Petrykivka decorated items, Vyshyvanka shirts, Pysanka eggs, and more.

What payment methods are accepted at the event?

At the event, all vendors will accept cash. Additionally, there will be a few checkout points where you can make payments using credit or debit cards.

What kind of entertainment will be there?

Enjoy performances by talented Ukrainian singers and dancers throughout the entire event. Cultural workshops will also be available in a separate hall—be sure to register for them in advance!

Will you have any activities for kids?

Yes, there will be Ukrainian hair braiding station and also, face painting.

How the funds raised at the event will be spent?

The funds raised at the event are used to procure and distribute essential supplies for the Ukrainian Army, including medical kits, medications, protective gear and more.

Is there an entrance fee?

The General Admission for adults and kids aged 12 and older is $5, children below 12 enter for free. Alternatively, you have the option to purchase a ticket for one of our workshops, which includes the entry fee.

Is parking available at the event venue?

Yes, there is ample parking space located at the side of the building.

Come and experience the joyful spirit of Ukrainian Easter at Easter Bazaar 2026! Join us on Sunday, March 22, 2026 at the Irishtown Community Centre (2603 NB-115, Irishtown).

Easter is one of the most cherished and meaningful holidays in Ukrainian culture. It is a celebration of renewal, hope, and faith, filled with beautiful traditions passed down from generation to generation. From the blessing of the Easter basket to the art of decorating pysanky, Ukrainian Easter is a time of light, unity, and togetherness.

We invite you to the Irishtown Community Centre for a festive celebration of Ukrainian culture and spring traditions. Enjoy delicious Ukrainian cuisine, beautiful handcrafted items, vibrant entertainment, and engaging cultural workshops for the whole family!

Food and Drinks:
Green borscht with a garlic bun, fresh spring salad with cucumber, radish, dill, and green onion, varenyky (perogies), cabbage rolls with mushroom sauce, homemade sausage and baked meat, hearty potato stew, krashanky (Easter boiled eggs), fragrant Easter bread (paska), and uzvar. The traditional Easter table will also include horseradish with beetroot, butter, cheese, and salt.

Arts, Crafts, and Easter Treasures:
Discover the beauty of Ukrainian craftsmanship through a variety of locally made and authentic Ukrainian items. You will find intricately decorated pysanky, wooden decorative eggs, embroidered vyshyvanka shirts, traditional tablecloths, flower crowns, candles, and spring décor. Ukrainian Pysanka Workshop (please, buy tickets in advance to secure your spot).
Discover the traditional Ukrainian art of pysanka — intricately decorated Easter eggs created using a wax-resist technique. In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn basic pysanka techniques and the meaning behind traditional symbols and patterns.

Ukrainian Easter Lunch Workshop (please, buy tickets in advance to secure your spot).
Experience a traditional Ukrainian Easter celebration through food and culture. During this one-hour workshop, participants will enjoy a traditional Easter lunch while learning about the meaning and symbolism of Ukrainian Easter traditions, including the Easter basket and egg-cracking ritual.

Mini workshop: Easter Cookie Decoration (pre-registration recommended, but you can join during the event).
Join a fun 20-minute workshop where participants decorate Easter cookies using colorful glaze. Perfect for children and families, this activity encourages creativity while celebrating Easter traditions. Each participant will decorate their own cookie to take home.
