About this event

Celebrate the holiday season at the gateway to Toronto from November 29 - January 2.

*The rink will close at 5pm on December 24th and will be closed on Saturday, December 25 and Sunday, December 26th.

Enjoy free skating and free skate rentals on Front Street at Union Station, Toronto. We are passionate and driven to create moments of joy during the Holiday season with a festive, truly Canadian winter activity. Skating is open to the public and for all skill levels. Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by a parent/guardian who will be on the ice with them. One parent/guardian is required for every two children under 12 years of age.

Skate sessions are 45 minutes long and registration is required. Unfortunately, walk-ups cannot be accommodated. Please note, online registration must be completed 24hr before your selected skate time. Please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes prior to your skate time.

Free skate and helmet rentals, provided by our supporting sponsor Bauer, are available to our guests! Sizes can be indicated in the registration process. Max sizes are: Women's 10/Men's 12. To participate in our free skate/helmet rental program, patrons will be required to sign a waiver during registration and will be asked to provide a government issued identification card as a deposit at skate/helmet pickup. Your identification will be returned when the ice skates and/or helmet are returned. Guests are also welcome to bring their own skates.

Skating Lessons with Sean Walker - Sunday December 12 & Sunday December 19 Join us at 3pm or 4pm on December 12th or 19th for free skating lessons with Sean Walker, a world-renowned leader in the hockey training industry. His company, iTrain Hockey, offers skills tutorials, practice plans and knowledge videos to players of all ages and skill levels on his website iTrainHockey.com.
